Introduction
Department of Emergency Medicine came into the existence as a separate department in March 2023 with the aim of integration of both Surgical & Medical emergency handling services and efficient and timely management of such cases at first contact at Dr. RPGMC Kangra at Tanda.
Department is committed to provide immediate, high quality and affordable life saving treatment by well trained staff and logistic specially designed for dealing emergency situation and stabilizing critically ill patients.

- 25 bedded emergency ward for monitoring patient with following equipment:

- 24 x 7 ECG Services

- All range of equipments for managing patients as per CCLS & ATLS protocols.
- Emergency preparedness with disaster management resources.
- Additional emergency male & female ward for short term monitoring.
